Eligibility Criteria for NBT Jobs 2021

Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant Director: Applicant should have graduated /Postgraduate Diploma in book publishing with a specialization in book production from a recognized university with 7 years of experience in book production of the book in press/publishing house and Proficiency in English/Hindi with 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in one or more of the fields from any govt. organizations.
2. Assistant Editor: Applicant should have a Postgraduate from a recognized university and 5 years of experience in editing, translating, proofreading, and book production.
3. Production Assistant: Aspirant should have passed in matriculation with Diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized university and 3 years of experience in book production of the book in press/publishing house.
4. Editorial Assistant: Applicant should have graduated from a recognized university and 3 years of experience in editing/translating/proofreading.
5. Accountant: Applicant should have graduated from a recognized university and 5 years of experience in accounts/bookkeeping in a public sector organization.
6. Sr. Stenographer: Aspirant should have passed in matriculation with shorthand typing speeds of 120 wpm in English and 100 wpm in Hindi and 45 wpm typewriting.
7. Assistant: Applicant should have graduated from a recognized university and 5 years of experience in the scale of Level-4 under the Govt/semi Govt organizations.
8. Librarian: Applicants should have graduated in Library Science from a recognized university with five years of working experience as a Library Assistant/   Professional Assistant in the Pay Scale of Rs.29200 92300(Level-5)in a library.
9. Junior Translator (Hindi): Aspirant should have post-graduate from a recognized university/English and Hindi as compulsory subjects at degree level with 5 years of experience of using/applying terminology in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi vice versa to technical literature.
10. Library Assistant: Applicant should have graduated in any discipline/Diploma in Library Science from a recognized university with 3 years of working experience in Library.
11. Jr. Artist: Aspirant should have passed matriculation with one year course in commercial/Applied Art from a recognized university and 3 years of experience of commercial/Applied Art in an advertising agency/publishing house/public sector organization.
12. Driver: Applicants must have passed in 8th standard possess valid heavy driving years of a commercial license with three years of working experience and Knowledge of automobile Mechanics.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit for Assistant Director, Assistant Editor 35 years, 18-25 years for Jr. Artist, Driver, and other posts will have 30 years of Age.

Pay Scale of NBT Assistant Director Recruitment 2021

• According to the Notification of National Book Trust, India Recruitment 2021, the Selected Candidates for the post of Assistant Director, Assistant Editor will get the pay levels of 10 the officials will pay the salary of Rs.56,100/- to Rs. 1,77,500/-.
• The Selected Candidates for the post of Production Assistant, Editorial Assistant, Accountant, Sr. Stenographer, Assistant, Librarian, Junior Translator (Hindi) will get the pay levels of 6 the officials will pay the salary of Rs. 35,400/- to Rs.1,12,400/-.
• The Selected Candidates for the post of Library Assistant will get the pay levels of 5 the officials will pay the salary of Rs. 29,200/-to Rs.92,300/-.
• The Selected Candidates for the post of Jr. Artist will get the pay levels of 4 the officials will pay the salary of Rs.25,500/-to Rs.81,100/-.
• The Selected Candidates for the post of Driver will get the pay levels of 2 the officials will pay the salary of Rs.19,900/- to Rs.63,200/-.

Selection Process

• Absolute performing the criteria doesn’t always grant the applicant the right to be necessarily considered or called for a written test/interview.

NBT Application Process for Assistant Director Jobs 2021

Application Fee

• Applicants should pay the Application fee in Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- and SC/ST/PWD, Ex-Serviceman, and EWS (UR) category candidates are exempted from the Application fee in favor of National Book Trust, India payable at New Delhi. The Demand Draft should not be drawn before the date of issue of this advertisement.
